What is the Opportunity Fund?
The Opportunity Fund at the IDEA Centre removes financial barriers so students can fully pursue their goals.
Whether it's travel to a competition, materials for a project, or specialized training, the fund ensures no student has to say "no" to growth because of cost.
How does it work?
Step 1: Student identifies an opportunity.

Step 2: Student works with IDEA Centre staff to craft a "pitch" - explaining the opportunity, the associated costs, and most importantly, the potential impact.

Step 3: An independent panel reviews the pitch - and, if approved, releases the funds quickly to ensure students can seize time-sensitive opportunities.
How can I help?
